As many of you know, I have challenged myself to do one animal communication a day for the month of September — in addition to any I do in the course of my day doing hoof care or equine/canine bodywork.
It’s been such an interesting experience, and one I am really enjoying and learning a lot from. In addition to messages from the animals to their guardians/owners, the animals will often share with me when I ask if there is anything they need from me or that could help our connection and time together.
On one such day I was connected in with a sweet dog. The day prior, I’d had a sudden and unexpected client horse that came up with a fatal injury and had to cross over. I tended to this sweet mare and her family before, and then was there during and after her passing — it was an honor to be a part of this transition
While I was a bit off that next day, I felt emotionally fine to connect in and made sure to clear myself like I normally do before a connection. Once in the connection with the dog we had a short, sweet interaction. They noticed what was happening inside me and shared the following, “You need to take time today to take care of yourself. I am happy to connect another time, however, today is for you.”
We can sometimes wonder if our animals know what is going on for us — I can assure you, they do. I am grateful for this gentle reminder that day.
